Beijing is a young city in terms of vitality and its importance not only in China but also over the world. The reasons why Beijing attractsand pleases people are not hard to discover. To start, at the heart of Beijing itself, tourists see the Tiananmen Square, which is the geographical and emotional centre of the city.
Moreover, Beijing offers a splendid microcosm of both modern and traditional China. It contains so many sights within its vicinity that one short visit is insufficientto include them all.
Shanghai
Located at the center of the mainlands coastline, Shanghai has long been a major hub of communications, transportation and international exchange. The municipalitycovers an area of 6,341 square kilometers and has a population of more than 13.5 million. Shanghai is Chinas largest economic comprehensiveindustrial base and a famous historical and cultural city.
The city consistently attracts investment and is seen as an ideal venue for business gatherings. It is also a must on any agendaduring a tour of China.
