My sample:
Well, speaking of a good cook, Id say my mom. My mom cooks three meals a day for the whole family everyday, so she spends a lot of time cooking. I think she is quite good at it. For breakfast, she would scramble eggs, stew some rice porridge, or prepare some sandwich for us. For lunch, there is a greater variety. Sometimes she would stir-fry vegetables or stew some pork or fish. She uses pepper sometimes to make the food more delicious. For dinner, she would prepare vegetable soup for us, because she believes that vegetables are good to our health. Besides, she cooks really fast. It usually takes her less than half an hour to prepare a dinner for three persons. She is a wonderful cook and a great mom.

No, most people are too busy too cook at home. They have to work extra hours at the office.
